Band of Gypsys is a psychadelic rock band led by Jimi Hendrix and backed by his friends Billy Cox and Buddy Miles. Hendrix formed the band after the dissolution of The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Jimi created a more soulfull sound with this band and the focus was more on music then on showmanship.
